London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for the post Facility Manager to join our LSBU Active team during this exciting time, supporting the running of our Sport and Fitness facilities at our Southwark Campus, offering modern facilities and refreshed services for Students, Staff and Community Members.
LSBU Active aims to inspire the development of our students and community through sport and physical activity. You will support continuous improvement of service delivery, maintain health and safety compliance and work closely with the Fitness Manager to deliver a high-quality customer service, ensuing the facility is fit for purpose at all times.
You will act as ‘Manager on Duty’ with responsibility for opening and closing the facility, supervising staff and operations, on a scheduled rota across the opening times of the service.
About You:
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
• Experience of working in leisure/sports environment
• Committed to delivering first-class customer service
• Relevant experience in facility management
• Fully conversant with current health and safety legislation in a sport setting
• Appropriate first aid qualifications
You will be passionate about the impact that physical activity can have in the community and have experience in delivering high quality activity and services. If successful, you will complement our customer-centric operation model, providing outstanding service for all members of our community.
