Exciting times for ISPAL as magazine and conference are launched
This week saw the first edition of INFORM, ISPAL’s new member magazine finalised for print – it will shortly be circulated to all members.
Jonathan Wilson, Head of Business Development, said: “This new publication will help support the repositioning of ISPAL in the market place and be a springboard for many more exciting projects.”
The magazine will feature ISPAL news from across several different departments, an analysis of the recent member survey and feature articles including a look at summer opportunities for other sports in the wake of England’s failure to qualify for football’s European Championships.
INFORM will be a quarterly publication.
It has also been confirmed this week that the National ISPAL Conference for the Active Leisure and Sports Sector entitled ‘Forecasting the Future of Leisure’, will take place on 3-4 June 2008 at Chesford Grange Hotel, near Warwick. Look out for further details in INFORM and on www.ispal.org.uk
ISPAL also has pleasure in drawing your attention to the forthcoming Annual General Meeting on: Thursday 10 April 2008 at the Grotto House, Lower Basildon, nr Reading.
Registration and a light lunch will be available at 12 o’clock midday with the business commencing at 1pm. Peter Mann, Executive Chairman, will be making a presentation about Charter Status.
