Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has signed a long-term management agreement to operate Encantado - a luxury 65-casita resort located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, US.
The group will take over the operations of the resort on 1 July and will be renamed Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe.
Facilities at the resort include The Spa at Encantado, which is inspired by the "multicultural character" of the Santa Fe region and houses separate steamrooms and soaking pools.
Relaxation areas, a 1,000sq ft (92sq m) Precor-equipped gym and a movement studio also form part of the spa. Treatments include ayurvedic rituals and traditional Eastern medicine.
Craig Reid, president of hotel operations for the Americas at Four Seasons, said: "This is an exceptional property, one that we are very proud to add to our growing portfolio.
"With its outstanding location in the unspoiled wilderness of the Sangre de Cristo foothills, its highly regarded restaurant and a spa inspired by the unique healing traditions of the area, it's the perfect opportunity to introduce Four Seasons guests to a new destination."
