Hilton International signs Euston agreement
Hilton International is to operate the 150-room London Euston Plaza Hotel from 1 November 2004.
The four-star property will be renamed Hilton London Euston and brings the total number of hotels operated by Hilton International in London to 17.
The hotel, which is adjacent to Euston station and close to Kings Cross and St Pancras station, is currently undergoing a complete facility refurbishment, including the lobby, all 150 guest rooms, the 11 meeting rooms, fitness centre, two dining outlets and separate bar.
Area president of Hilton UK and Ireland, Wolfgang M. Neumann, said: “Being so close to key rail transport hubs, the Hilton London Euston will be perfectly positioned for the domestic and international traveller.
“The Euston and Kings Cross area continues to develop and rejuvenate and with the demand for high quality hotel accommodation and service likely to grow, the Hilton London Euston will be ideally placed to capitalise on this demand.”
Hilton International intends to open 24 new hotels around the world within the next two years, representing around 7,000 guestrooms.
An operating division of the UK-based Hilton Group, Hilton International currently operates over 400 hotels with 250 branded Hilton.
