Hunt aims to capitalise on 2012 opportunities
Culture secretary Jeremy Hunt has outlined plans to help capitalise on the opportunities for economic growth to be provided through the successful delivery of the Olympic Park.
The Department for Culture, Media and Sport has selected creative communications agency Mother to drive overseas marketing activity before, during and after the London Games. One of the initial activities is set to be a focus on tourism, trade and investment opportunities from 'One Year To Go' on 27 July.
Hunt said: "It is important that we continue to maximise the benefits from the Games for the whole of the UK. "That means making sure we are in the best possible place to win new business overseas off the back of the successful delivery of the Park, to promote this country abroad and attract more visitors to the UK."
