Pub group signs up to Farnborough scheme
Developer St Modwen has announced it has signed up pub operator JD Wetherspoon as part of a multi-million pound town centre scheme in Farnborough, Hampshire.
The pub group, which operates more than 700 properties across the UK, has secured an agreement with St Modwen to occupy a 6,000sq ft (557sq m) unit as part of the first phase of the regeneration project. JD Wetherspoon has now joined supermarket chain Sainsbury's and budget hotel operator Travelodge in Farnborough town centre, which is also set to include additional retail and residential units.
St Modwen development director James Stockdale said: "Our scheme at Farnborough continues to make headway in spite of current economic conditions."
