Ryanair to open base at Leeds Bradford
Ryanair, the budget airline, has announced that it is to open its 34th base at Leeds Bradford Airport.
From March 2010, two based aircraft and 14 new routes will start flying from the airport, offering 63 weekly flights, in an investment of US$140m (£84.8m).
The 14 new routes will travel from Leeds Bradford to Carcassonne, Faro, Ibiza, Knock, Krakow, Limoges, Malaga, Malta, Montpellier, Murcia, Nantes, Palma, Pisa and Venice Treviso.
These flights are in addition to the airport’s existing routes to Alicante, Barcelona and Dublin.
