Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) is set to launch a new nightly attraction at Siloso Beach on Sentosa Island in Singapore.
The S$31m (£10.6m, 15.4m euro, US$20m) permanent multimedia attraction will present two laser shows per night to up to 3,000 visitors watching from a purpose-built, open-air amphitheatre on the shore.
Yves Pepin, founder and president of multimedia show production company ECA2, designed the project.
Work on site began earlier this year and completion is scheduled for the second quarter of 2007.
Sentosa CEO Darrell Metzger said: “Our world-class nightly attraction will be the only attraction in the region which operates from the sea for spectators to watch from the shore.” Details: www.sentosa.com
