South Seas range from BABOR
BABOR has unveiled three new masks and peelings called Fiji, Tonga and Tahiti that feature selected active ingredients and fragrances from islands in the South Seas.
Each also includes a mono oil, traditionally used on the islands as a beauty aid and produced from blossoms, fruits and herbs that are picked right before dawn and then immersed in fresh coconut oil.
The Fiji moisturising gel-cream mask peel is for dry skin and has exfoliant grains made from coconut shells. With Vitamin C-rich extracts of kiwi and mango, the Fiji mask also includes the active ingredient Liftolution as well as aloe vera and hyaluronic acid. The mono oil used contains blossom and fruit extracts of the noni tree and gardenia.
The rich Tonga peel mask for dry sensitive skin is a smooth cream peel with exfoliating grains made from shells of the tamanu fruit. It also includes avocado, orchid extract and mono oil with extracts of frangipani and gardenia as well as cocoa butter and oils from macadamia nuts, pistachios and sweet almonds.
The final, clarifying Tahiti gel is for blemished, combination and oily skin. Featuring exfoliating grains made from pearl, this refining cleansing mask treats the skin with active ingredients from the island of Tahiti. It also includes salicylic acid, kaolin and zinc oxide. The mono oil used in the Tahiti products contains extracts of gardenia, pineapple, basil, turmeric and sandalwood.
