TMD dives in to sponsor RNLI Funday
05 Aug 2024
TMD Sponsorship of RNLI Mudeford Lifeboat Funday / Taylor Made Designs
“The RNLI Funday is one of the most anticipated events in the local calendar, offering an amazing day of free, fun, entertainment and good-natured competition for all the family,” explains James Taylor, Managing Director, TMD.
James continues: “TMD has been a sponsor of this event for more years than I can remember. Not only do most of the team live and work within the community and feel a strong sense of admiration and respect for the service the RNLI provides, the RNLI has also been a client of TMD for more than 20 years, employing our services to kit out its national teams in specialist uniforms. The RNLI Mudeford Lifeboat Funday has become part of this community’s DNA and we are absolutely delighted to support it and raise awareness of the incredible work the RNLI delivers.”
The RNLI Mudeford Lifeboat Funday takes place on Sunday, August 11, 11am – 4pm at Mudeford Quay and is free to attend. Activities to look forward to include: live lifeboat demonstrations, family-friendly games, kayak & paddleboard relay races, a fun fair, face painting, a bouncy castle and the annual duck race. Food and drink will be available via the RNLI Crew BBQ, the Haven House Café and a number of stalls on the green, with a dedicated picnic area for those who wish to bring their own.
James concludes: “The RNLI Funday is the embodiment of community spirit. I’ll be there with my family, taking in the sights, enjoying the entertainment and encouraging everyone to dip their hands in their pockets and support the RNLI fundraising efforts via raffle tickets, the BBQ and a host of other low-cost activities.”
