Life Fitness Synrgy360 for Nuffield Health gyms
The Life Fitness Synrgy360 has been installed across Nuffield Health sites - the first UK fitness chain to offer the equipment.
Nuffield Health, a healthcare charity, has installed the equipment in 16 of its gyms, including its flagship fitness and wellbeing centre in Warwick.
The new Life Fitness Synrgy360 combines several total-body, dynamic exercises into a system that helps personal trainers help individuals and groups, and is designed to provide fun, unlimited ways of exercising.
The new equipment is designed to support exercisers of all fitness levels with a variety of training goals, including metabolic weight loss, coordination, speed, agility, flexibility, power and strength.
Rick Crawford at Nuffield Health said: “Industry development is shaping the future of gyms and health clubs, as we know them; rows of treadmills are being replaced with equipment that encourages a more interactive, functional workout, and, as we saw from the Olympics, the technology that goes into training kit used by elite athletes is boosting performance year on year.”
He added: “The move towards functional training is not the only shift that we are seeing; the role of the fitness centre is changing, as people are becoming more aware of their own health, and more aware of the part that exercise plays in promoting and maintaining overall health and wellbeing.”
