Technogym launches ‘digital age’ stair climber
Fitness equipment giant Technogym has launched the latest addition to its Excite Line, which it says will bring stair climbing “to the digital age”.
The fully-immersive Climb Excite will give users the opportunity to choose from interactive landscapes, including some of the world’s tallest mountains and buildings, allowing them to virtually climb while on the rotating stair mill.
Using the new Unity 3.0 interface, the product will give health club operators access to a number of Android-compatible apps – which will also be made available on the Technogym App Store.
It also features a range of in-built, high-intensity routines designed by Technogym – such as B-Side, Sweat it out and Body buster – which safely guide users through a variety of exercises to shape the lower body,
Climb Excite has also been designed to space-efficient, with a low height (189cm, 74in), and a small footprint (1sqm/10sq ft).
With over 2,000 employees across 14 branches, Technogym is present in over 100 countries. More than 65,000 wellness centres are equipped with Technogym and 35 million users train every day on Technogym equipment. Technogym was the official supplier for the past seven Olympic Games, from Sydney 2000 to PyeongChang 2018.
